  1. Allow the users to paint masks and height

    We already have the ability to paint clone masks, why not use the underlying paint tool to allow us to define regions were we want to layer materials, or bring up the height modulation for better artist control.

  2. Include per layer UV tiling and offset controls - similar to Painter

    It would be nice to have per layer tiling, offset and rotation controls - just like Painter does. Both safe and non as I'm having to include these in my sbs materials for now and it's something I can imagine most people need to do! Thanks!

  3. Allow sorting or filtering of Materials within Folders

    Currently Materials are displayed chronologically when viewed in Folders. It would be good to default to alphabetical or allow the user to choose sorting style or filter by tags etc

  6. AI Res Learning

    it would be great if we can get AI to up rez images that have low imported resolutions into the B2M. Having 1k textures up rez'd to true 4k image quality and not just scaled up to 4k would be incredible

  7. png transparent color

    When importing a png and using a B2M layer, transparent color is set to black. Could you add an option to define this color (ex: mid-grey) so that it has a lower impact on height and normals.

  8. Include a File/Save Menu

    It seems strange to me not to have a File/Save drop down menu at the top like all other software has. I'm not sure why this wasn't included as standard. Makes me feel insecure about having my work saved!:)

    its seems Substance Alchemist uses the built-in windows color picker and its really bad and outdated maybe make something like the one in photoshop

  10. Expand color variation to random assignments of extracted colors

    I would LOVE to see a generate x random number of variations button that would pull random colors from your extracted colors and assign them to ALL color inputs randomly.

  11. More space between scroll bar and delete button in library

    UI request: can we get a bit more space between the delete button and the scroll bar? Or if there is a way for me to tweak the layout, I'd love to know. Thanks!

  13. Ability to change Alchemist save path

    As a Substance Source download path can be changed, It will be great to have the same option for Alchemist files. One reason can be cloud synced folder between two (or more) workstations, so on every workstation I'm able to open and tweak my Alchemist projects.

  15. Support for 8K on export

    Right now we only have option for exporting to max 4K res, possibly due to performance limitations. If that's the case, you can limit to 4k max in viewport, but still have ability to export to 8K max.

  16. Add Snapshots

    Add a snapshot feature like the one in Photoshop, so it's possible to easily compare various looks/states.

  20. Height

    I've noticed that sometimes the auto height feature gets the heights incorrect. Could you perhaps give a way to shape the height better?

    For example, for this material the small area circled was supposed to be a puddle and thus, the lowest point of the material. However, because I don't have the control to do so, no matter what edits I made, this area would always push up.

    The down pointing arrows are just to show rough depth/
